Anna Tukiendorf-Wilhite is the co-founder of Tukiendorf Training Institute, Inc. She is also President of Polish Women in Business, a Chicago based not for profit organization comprised of female owned Polish American businesses dedicated to supporting and developing its members’ interests.
Anna earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental Engineering along with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management.
Anna’s journey towards entrepreneurship began over ten years ago when she worked managing public housing in Chicago. There, though her hard work and unbridled ambition, she developed her business acumen and a unique and dynamic approach to business.
Anna has always had a passion for helping others and making their lives better. Being an immigrant herself, she was very familiar with the struggles immigrants faced when building a career and finding their place in our society.
Using the skills she developed, she fulfilled her passion and founded Tukiendorf Training Institute which provides immigrants and other underprivileged persons, especially women, an opportunity to empower themselves through education and a lifelong career in the medical field. Anna has helped build a business that is not only prosperous, but provides her with the satisfaction of instilling confidence in others and helping them achieve their dreams.
Through Tukiendorf Training Institute, Anna and her business partner Rick Stefaniak have helped hundreds of students persevere through the challenges they faced, reach their goals and completely change their lives for the better. Instead of being overcome by a sometimes inescapable hardship, they now have an immense opportunity and can play important roles in our society and the growing healthcare field.
Aside from being a highly successful business woman, Anna is the proud mother of three children.
Rick Stefaniak has extensive sales, marketing and operations experience in the uniform rental services industry.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his career he has helped others “to achieve everything that they can believe”! He is co-founder and President, along with Anna Wilhite, Director of the school. T.T.I. Medical Training provides entry level training programs for the growing healthcare field.
He and his staff through training, mentoring and counseling have helped many students successfully launch their healthcare careers. He is also a retired Navy Reserve Captain with 23 years’ military experience. His wife, Ann, owns and operates a home day care and they have 5 grown and working children and 12 grandchildren.
Monika is TTI’s Admissions Director and administrative assistant. She also completed her degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
Her strong work ethic and life skills work to help manage the TTI office and its day to day tasks. She meets and leads new students and existing students through orientation as they come to class.
She also helps to ensure TTI is in compliance with local regulations. She is a vital part of the TTI team and keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Beata has been teaching at TTI Medical school for over nine years covering a wide range of courses including: phlebotomy, EKG, and medical assistant.
Beata is an M.D. and has a wealth of experience in the areas of general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Family Medicine.
She is diligent and has a great passion for helping others that always warms up every class she teaches.
Antonia teaches our phlebotomy technician classes.
Antonia is a highly talented nurse and brings over 20 years of experience having earned her nursing degree from the National University of Mexico (UNAM).
She has worked as a nurse focusing on care of patients in the intensive care unit. She also trained in the field of pediatric nursing and worked in a neonatal intensive care unit.
Besides working with patients, she served as a nurse supervisor and was responsible for orientation and training of new nursing staff. She enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge and career experiences with her students.
Isabel is a registered nurse and instructs our CNA classes.
She initially studied business and accounting. She later followed her dreams of a career in the medical field and graduated Wilbur Wright College in 2010 with an associate degree in nursing.
She has been working as a nurse for several years since working with a variety of patients, focusing on the elderly. In her free time, she volunteers at various churches and a local women’s center helping women in need.
She has a strong passion for patient care and brings this enthusiasm and her years of experience to the classroom.
Elzbieta has been teaching at TTI since 2008, instructing students in phlebotomy, EKG, and medical assistant courses.
She also teaches human biology, medical terminology, and other clinical courses at St. Augustine College in Chicago.
She is an M.D. has over 25 years of experience in the medical field.
She brings this wealth of knowledge to the classroom along with an unmatched passion for teaching that resonates in every class she teaches.
