Healthcare FAQ

Our school provides healthcare training programs for careers as a medical assistant; patient care technician or hemodialysis care technician. Our focus from our start in August 2006 has been to serve the foreign educated student population in the Chicagoland region. We attract students from a 60 mile radius to our locations.

Most of our foreign educated students work as: housekeepers, caregivers for young and old, factory jobs and a variety of work environments. Our healthcare training programs help students to gain meaningful employment in the growing healthcare field.

Jobs as a Medical Assistant range form $10-$18 hr.:

  • CNA’s $10-$12 hr.
  • private caregivers with CNA certification $15 hr.
  • Patient Care technician’s $16-$18 hr.
  • Hemodialysis Care technician’s $15-$19 hr.

In many cases, a career in healthcare leads to double wages over their previous job; a more stable work environment; along with benefits such as medical insurance, opportunity for more education and advancement.

Our school began in August 2006 with 14 ESL students and 15 foreign educated nurses in our Nursing review program.

In 2006, we were approved to provide phlebotomy; EKG technician and clinical medical assistant programs.

In 2007, we were approved by the Illinois Dept. of Public Health to begin a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program and Patient Care Technician program approved by NHA.

In 2009, we were approved by the Board of Nephrology, Nursing & Technology (BONENT) for our Hemodialysis technician and Hemodialysis Care technician programs. We are approved as a private vocational school by the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools of the Illinois Board of Higher Education for all of our programs. We are also approved by the American Heart Association to provide CPR training for healthcare providers.

Over our 7 year history, we have helped nearly 1,400 students to achieve all that they believe!
